  • No! California offers direct access to physical therapy. You can work with us for up to 12 visits or 45 days (whichever comes first) without a doctor's referral or prescription. After that timeframe, a referral may be required depending on your situation. We'll guide you through the process and coordinate with your healthcare team as needed.

  • Every session at Dang PT is 60 minutes, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. No rotating therapists, no shared time with other patients—just focused, personalized care designed to get you results efficiently.


  • Your initial evaluation includes a thorough assessment of your movement patterns, pain triggers, and goals. We'll identify the root cause of your back pain through a full-body movement analysis (because often back pain stems from issues elsewhere), then create a customized treatment plan. You'll also receive treatment during this first visit.


  • We are an out-of-network provider, which allows us to invest all our time into providing the highest quality of care. We provide detailed superbills for each visit that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many of our clients receive partial or full reimbursement depending on their out-of-network benefits.

  • Unlike traditional clinics where you might see multiple therapists or share your appointment time, every session at Dang PT is 60 minutes, 1-on-1 with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy. You'll also have 24/7 access to your clinician via text or email for questions between visits, plus weekly exercise updates through our personalized app. We focus on performance-based rehabilitation—getting you back to activities you love, stronger than before.
